All of our bunks come with with a full slat kit, so no need for bunkie boards or bunkie mattresses. Is there a weight limit?
The manufacturer does not specify a weight limit. We suggest 200 lbs for the bottom bunk, 175 lbs maximum for the top bunk. The primary users of bunk beds are children, but many of our customers have used them successfully for teenagers and adults. We recommend the use of a bunkie board to provide additional support for a heavy person.
